Fabulously Flowing in Ocean Blues | MIKOH SWIMWEAR

Let's rewind back to #MiamiSwim. I had the opportunity to attend the MIKOH 2016 show, showcasing their ALOHA collection. That's what you call beautiful swimwear. From classic&neutral to funky&retro, I could not keep my eyes off of all the sexy, fun pieces. Definitely had a laid back, groovy vibe to it. The show was sponsored by TRESemmé, so of course I also had an eye on the gorgeous hairstyles. I was able to get a sneak peek of the whole process backstage, and those TRESemmé hairstylists were workinggg their magic. Most of the models were styled with beachy, wavy hair, perfect for the theme of the presentation. Here's a secret for you guys I picked up from the hairstylists backstage - if you want the same natural, effortless waves the models had that last all day, get yourself products from TRESemme's "Perfectly (un)Done" collection (the sea salt spray works sooo well!).

I kept my look of the night light and breezy with a double slit maxi dress. The design and print of the dress reminded me of cool, flowing water...perfect for Miami Swim right? It comes with an attached bodysuit underneath which makes it SO easy to pull this look off because you don't need to worry about your undergarments having the same cut. You cannot go wrong with this dress. I went with yellow heels to contrast the blue for a fun little color block. With a deep V neckline and a double slit, you already know I stayed cool and beat that Miami heat. ;)

White Lace Dress

If there's one thing every woman is told to have in her closet, it's a little black dress. BUT it's time to show some love and attention to an underrated wardrobe essential, LBD's partner: the little white dress. Not only is it a classic, but it keeps me feeling light and fresh , which is a bigggg plus in this Miami heat. I rocked this cute number from Mura Boutique at the Tous Brunch I attended during Miami Swim Week. Gorgeous feminine lace on top balanced by the structured bottom. Love! The perfect pick for an event or a cocktail party (just don't spill the red wine loves, lol).

It's finally #MiamiSwimWeek! This is actually my first summer I'm spending in Miami, so I'm extremely excited to attend Swim Week! Talented designers, beautiful models, and swimsuit heaven - what more could I want? I am so thrilled. It's a pretty busy week filled with shows and events, so if you're going to be out all day, ladies come prepared with your on-the-go essentials! It can be such a struggle to stay chic and be put together morning to night, especially with Miami's humidity. One thing about summer: it's skin-central. Short dresses and bikinis all day. And honestly, what's worse than showing all of that skin... only to have it look dry?  It's a good thing that I have the perfect solution for all you sexy fashionistas that will give you beautiful skin all day long. ;) The Vaseline Spray Moisturizer! 

I've been using Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer (there are four different types of moisturizing sprays, but I use the Aloe Soothe for fresh skin) lately, and let me tell you, it is a life saver for dry skin! After a spray and a few quick rubs, my skin feels instantly soft, and not sticky or greasy, no mess at all. Now, if you're like me, you're always on the go-go-go; what's funny is that I've realized how time consuming putting regular lotion on can be, especially if I'm in a rush (which, let's face it, is always). The spray is fast to apply and absorbs quickly, so I don't have to worry about it getting all over the place, and I can get dressed and head out without having to wait. And even better? I don't have to keep reapplying it over and over again for my skin to stay soft. This definitely makes it easier to moisturize every day and I am lovinggg the time it saves me!

1 top | 2 completely different looks

From laying on the beach to walkin' the streets in style anddd in the same top. When I pick out coverups for bikinis, it's not just about the look for me. I like when I have a top that I can effortlessly transition from a bikini coverup to a dolled up everyday outfit. All about versatility. That's why I am loving my beautiful Cotton Natural mesh top. Adding pops of bright color to an outfit is always in for summer trends and like I've said before with an all white outfit: nudes and neutrals will always be classic, but a pop of color will always make a statement. OROGOLD | Glowing Golden Skin

If you've noticed by my posts lately, a good skincare routine is an absolute must for me, especially because I have highly sensitive skin! Growing up, it's always been difficult for me to find skin cleansers that I am not allergic to, which can for sure be a hassle at times. My skin has become my main priority when it comes to beauty routines ( it has to be, our skin is the largest organ of the body!), so I'm constantly looking for products that suit my skin type. 1. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.

2. Know your skin type (dry, oily, or mixed), and choose your products specifically for it.

3. Be gentle with the skin around your eyes. This area the skin is more fine and fragile so try not to rub or be heavy handed when you're taking your eye makeup off because this can cause premature wrinkles and dark circles. And when you apply your eye cream, dab it on with your ring finger. 

4. Alwaaaaays use sun protection. Too much sun exposure is the fastest way to aged skin.

And something alot of us women are guilty of: It is sooooo easy to fall asleep with a face full of makeup on or take the easy way out and just use a makeup wipe, but break that habit, girls!! Invest in a good skincare routine and stick with it.

You're never too young to look youthful, and the best time to take care of your skin is NOW!
