The Viceroy Miami

Who doesn't need a pamper session? It is a must. We're only given one body to last a lifetime, so take care of yourselves loves! And isn't that the perfect excuse for a spa day? ;)

The other week I spent my afternoon in The Spa at Viceroy Miami. First off, as soon as you walk in you already feel like royalty. The interior is gorgeous, and the pool was calling my name.

I was there for my ReVersive Anti-Aging Facial. Let's talk some beauty science. The facial uses the BABOR Re-Youth complex technology to retain and extend skin cell lifespan, and reactivates the anti aging mechanisms of your skin. It visibly smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, and leaves your skin radiant. To level up the results of this treatment, they use firming massage techniques. This was 50 minutes well spent!

My skin type is oily and it worked out amazing for me! But if you have dry or combination skin (dry skin is more prone to fine lines and wrinkles) I definitely recommend this facial treatment even more. You will leave the spa looking FAB and refreshed after this facial for sure :)

Casual Chic

First off let me say that even though it's never been seen before (lol!), I do wear jeans. And I'm so glad that I went with jeans the day I shot this look because it was windyyyyy! There are a lot of factors to keep in mind when fashion bloggers plan a shoot, but sometimes things get in the way and I can't always rely on perfect Miami weather. So this was the best day to rock an easy and effortless outfit to beat the wind! Don't forget though, easy and effortless can always be stylish.

I'm wearing a pair of high waisted jeans, a high neck crop top, and nude pumps. When you go for a simple outfit, you can always take it up a level.I chose to do that with this gorgeous leather tote from Gigi New York's 2015 Spring Collection. Spacious, sturdy, and stylish. And the python print adds some fun to look, taking my outfit from simple to chic in an instant. Love it! :)

Springtime Scarves

Who said that scarves are just worn around the neck? Today, I transformed my Jules Smith scarf I received in my FabFitFun box into a fab headband (if you guys remember, I do love to rock headpieces :) ). Nothing like a fun pop of print in a spring outfit. If you want to wear the scarf the traditional way, you totally can. It's super light weight, perfect for the weather.

I picked a turquoise crop top that ties at the back in the cutest bow (do you guys also remember that I cannottttt resist cute bows?) to match the turquoise accents in the scarf. Jeans, white wedges, and a dainty gold chain necklace with a pearl to finish off my outfit. Oh, and peach toned lipstick for a pop of color! My casual spring look is complete.

Just hold on though, I have a little treat for you! :) The 2015 Spring FabFitFun box the scarf came in has so much useful goodies. From skin care, nail care, a fitness DVD, makeup brushes and gift cards, to a yummy snack, coasters, and flash tattoos. This box is loaded!

My Magic Product

It hydrates your skin, it removes makeup, nourishes your hair, and you can eat it?? I'm talking about coconut oil! It seriously is the magic product, sooooo many uses. On top of that, it's all natural, inexpensive, and just walk into any grocery store and you'll find it. What do I personally use it for?

1. Skin

I use it to moisturize my skin, and let me tell you, it is super hydrating. Rub on a small amount, your skin quickly absorbs it and you won't be feeling greasy. Coconut oil is
also known to remove scarring and marks. Some women also use it at night instead of under eye creams for an all natural way to prevent eye bags and wrinkles.

2. Makeup Remover

Does your mascara or eyeliner ever just not want to leave your face? (the most annoying thing ever when you're just trying to get your makeup off and get to bed lol)
Take a cotton pad with a bit of coconut oil, gently rub the makeup off, and it's gone!

3. Hair

When your hair gets dry and damaged, put some coconut oil on (not too much, use however many tablespoons depending on your hair length and thickness), wrap it up, and
try to leave it on overnight or at least an hour. Shampoo until there's no more, and when your hair dries soft and shiny you will realize coconut oil works magic.

4. Cooking and Baking

Coconut oil is said to be a healthier option instead of the regular vegetable oils and shortening. Experiment with it and see what you like! Or next time you bake brownies, try replace vegetable oil with coconut oil. You might just love it. ;)

I use Spectrum Naturals: Organic Coconut Oil. It truly is an all in one, all purpose magic product. Go get some and thank me later! :)

Jumpsuit Joy

Whether your style is girly, edgy, sexy, or laid back, you will find the one for you. Jumpsuits are everywhere and I am loving it! So many different styles, prints, cuts, and patterns. Options out there for every type of woman, for every kind of occasion. And what's my favorite part of it? Soooooo comfortable.

The printed jumpsuit I'm wearing is a loose fit, so the sexy cut outs and the tie at the waist (most jumpsuits are cinched at the waist which gives us a super flattering look) takes it up a level to a fabulous night out outfit. As for the accessories, I decided on gold. Band necklace, wrap around watch, and the coolest rings. The rings are simple and classic yet make a statement. Perfect little addition to an outfit. Went with metallic heels for a bit of glam, and a metallic clutch to accent my shoes and pull the look together.

Wait! I do have a few tips and tricks for you. :)
First, if your jumpsuit runs too long, you do not need to get it altered. It's the perfect excuse to rock some heels or wedges, giving you a taller and leaner look!
Second, don't get a super tight fit. Jumpsuits are a gift to us women. The gift of comfort!! You do not want to miss out on it.
And third, make sure your jumpsuit is practical to get in and out of. You do not want to spend forever in a bathroom when you're in a rush (this one's important girls lol).

Jumpsuits are all year round. Perfect for summer weather and fun to layer up for the colder months. Must have piece! :)

Cinderella's Baby Blues

Who watched Cinderella this past month? No one is ever too old for a good Disney movie. Especially this classic! Sooooo, what I am trying to say is...I mean come on!! You already know. I HAD to do it. Fairy tale disney princess inspired outfit?? Yes please!

Cinderella's signature look is of course the glamorous baby blue ball gown. Unfortunately, in the real world I can't go walking around in a ball gown (I wish lol), so I went with a baby blue knee length two piece. The white sheer lace material over the two piece turns it into a more conservative look. My version of a tiara and glass slippers? A glam headband and gold metallic shoes. There is no version of glass heels I am willing to wear. No thanks! Finished the look with stud earrings. And my princess look is complete!

If you watched the movie, did you hear this quote? Words to remember beauties. :)
"I want to tell you a secret that will see you through all the trials that life can offer. Have courage and be kind. Where there is kindness, there is goodness. And where there is goodness, there is magic."

Miami Open

For today's post, fashion meets tennis (#BeautifulTennis). Whether you're playing or watching the sport, you gotta dress cute! ;) And thanks to Lacoste, it's an easy thing to do. Lacoste signed on as one of the big sponsors, an official partner and outfitter for the Miami Open! Their fabulous sports collection is now available for purchase at select Lacoste stores throughout Florida.

Last Monday, I watched Serena Williams kill it on the court from the Lacoste Suite with a friend (btw how adorable are the desserts with the signature logos).

I'm wearing a royal blue dress belted at the waist. To accent the trimming and belt, I styled the dress with white wedges and a cute little purse.

And here's where I get to have some fun. I styled my friend in a classic white Lacoste polo, powder blue shorts, and color blocked loafers. You can totally do his and her outfits without getting all corny. Instead of trying to be matchy matchy, just go for a cohesive look without the two looks clashing.

On the way out of the event we got gift bags, which included the Lacoste sunglasses we're both wearing. Love it! It was such a fun time! And big congrats to Serena Williams for winning her 8th Miami Open! Amazing!! :)
