So, when I've got things under control and I'm feelin' those girl boss vibes, what am I wearing? A pantsuit. There's just something about suiting up that gives you a little power boost. It's no wonder that pantsuits have been everywhere lately and made it's way into street style, not just officewear. Thinking about it, but not sure how to pull it off? I got you!

SOBEFEST 2016

If there ever was a must-go-to festival, South Beach Wine and Food Festival on Miami Beach is it.

Network TV stars, culinary geniuses, world-renowned restaurateurs, gourmet food and, of course, the wines.

SOBEfest draws foodies from all over the globe to attend the scrumptious events throughout the four-day festival. From daytime demos to late-night tastings, one of more than 80 events is sure to please anyone’s taste buds. 

I have teamed up with Visit Florida to cover this amazing weekend!  I started my SobeFest experience... wining! I attended the Copper Cane Wines & Provisions event at their bungalow. Favorite drink of the evening? Winemaker Joseph Wagner's new sparkling wine, Steorra. It’s a mix of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Yum!

Since I wasn't out walking on the beach for the events that night, I went for a simple dolled-up look with a flowy turquoise maxi and a pair of heels.

It's time to put another #NYFW look in the books, so let's rewind a couple weeks back! I wanted something different than what I usually wear (never hesitate to switch things up and try a new look every now and then!), but I still went for my go-to recipe: a hint of edge, a scoop of girly, and a sprinkle of chic.

I've talked about my love for flared pants, so how about flared sleeves get in on some of that spotlight? The 70s fever is still making its rounds, and I am here for it! Bell sleeves can come with a modern twist these days; subtle, sleeker, and chicer than before, but they still come in all types of shapes and sizes, so for today's case it's...go big or go home!

Embellished Jacket | NYFW DAY 1

I'm back home in the sunshine state from New York Fashion Week! And let me tell you, the styles over there were as expected, smokin' hot, but the temperatures? Man, oh man. The Big Apple does not play with winter. Freeeeezing! But let's talk about what really brought the heat to the city: the fashion. It's common knowledge that everyone brings their "A" game to #NYFW, but seeing it in person was a whole different experience. Every outfit walking my way was an expression of the person through style with no inhibitions. From classy prim, rocker edge, to head-turning quirky, and everything in between. If you have the slightest appreciation for fashion, it would have been a beautiful feast for your eyes.
